 Does this help at all? There's a lot of discouragement there concerning
 the break made in Sierra for those using older systems. Stuff related to
 what they say the SDK supports in 10.11 versus reality. Or something.

 The discouragement is made plain, but some other ideas are floated. Just a
 vain hope, probably.
