Comment (by ryandesign):

 I assume that the next major version of macOS will be 12, and 13 after
 that, and so on. But we have no official information on that. For now we
 are calling Big Sur "11.0" to match the SDK name. If it turns out that
 Apple releases a Big Sur "11.1" update then we can change our numbering to
 match.
