 I installed the command line tools for Xcode 12.2.

 $ pkgutil --pkg-info=com.apple.pkg.CLTools_Executables
 version: 12.2.0.0.1.1604628099
 }}}

 Then I rebuilt mongodb

 {{{
 $ sudo port clean mongodb
 $ sudo port -nsk upgrade --force mongodb
 }}}

 The log file is attached to the ticket.
