 well you have a point there. Perhaps someone might be able to code up some
 logic that deletes all the selected symlinks if the port is
 deactivated...not real simple, because it would somehow have to properly
 handle upgrades, and not delete your symlinks when upgrading...

 For the time being, and perhaps forever, this remains a manual step...
