 Not sure why it doesn't build for you. It does build for me on 10.13, and
 on our build server on every OS version:
 https://packages.macports.org/portmidi/ We have not yet tried to build on
 macOS 11. I can schedule a build there for you. It may take a day or two
 to happen; it is busy building other ports at the moment.
