 I'll do a clean installation of MacOS, there isn't much on this machine
 and maybe it'll simply work after that... Will report back after that, but
 btw I have a question, what's the best way to handle both macports and
 homebrew? I know it's not recommended but I need it and maybe there's just
 a better way than the standard one (homebrew installs by default to
 usr/local).
