 Using Command Line Tools for XCode 12.2.  It correctly triggers install of
 libmikmod (v.3.3) but fails to detect it properly:

 :info:configure *** The test program compiled, but did not run. This
 usually means
 :info:configure *** that the run-time linker is not finding libmikmod or

 you'll need to set your
 :info:configure *** LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable, or edit
 /etc/ld.so.conf to point
 :info:configure *** to the installed location. Also, make sure you have
 run ldconfig if that
 :info:configure *** is required on your system.

 :info:configure *** If you have an old version installed, it is best to
 remove it, although
