 ports intentionally never use port selected entities to statisfy their
 requirements, as this would make builds random and non reproducible, as
 they would depend on whatever the user happen to have set, which we cannot
 control. Port select is only there for user convenience, nothing more.

 As I previously stated it’s entirely intentional that if a port requires a
 dep., even python 2.7, we use macports own dependency in order to ensure
 consistency across all OS versions.
