 There are a couple of open tickets and two open PRs about gobject-
 introspection being broken. That is what is causing these errors.
 Unfortunately not fixed yet.

 We really should stop updating and revbumping anything that uses gobject-
 introspection until this gets fixed, because everything is broken, and
 it's just getting worse and worse as we build more broken stuff. I said
 this a week ago or so, but we're still doing it I guess.

 Your best bet I think, if you still have any around, would be to roll back
 to a gobject-introspection from about a month ago or so, until this gets
 straightened out.
