 Notwithstanding GitHub's removal of the repository I do not know the
 validity of the RIAA's request that the repository be removed. I am not a
 lawyer. Nobody has asked us to remove the port yet, so for now I will keep
 the port.

 MacPorts is neither the developer of this software nor the end user; we
 are an intermediary making the software available to the user. It is the
 responsibility of the user to determine the legality in their jurisdiction
 of using any particular software, whether acquired through MacPorts or
 other means.
