2.6.2 at the beginning. Is it a problem ? No idea.

Your log contains seven build attempts at various dates dating back to
February of this year, at which time you had MacPorts 2.6.2 installed.
Later attempts in your log show version 2.6.3. MacPorts does not delete
the logfile until you either clean the port or install it successfully.

> I did check for existing tickets, but it was not obvious that I was
concerned with #59502 since #59502 was about @21.4.22_15+sumo which is the
one currently installed on my machine for which I had no trouble to
upgrade at the time it was upgraded. How was I supposed to know it would
be the same problem ?
The error reported in that ticket was `Malformed UTF-8 character:
\xe4\x2c\x20`. That is the same error that appears in your log. I realize
it's not always easy to determine which lines in the log are the relevant
ones. I usually search for "error:" (ignoring errors about missing
packages) or "Waiting for unfinished jobs" to get to the right general
area of the logfile. David is right that we would rather you not file
duplicate tickets if possible, but if you can't determine if your issue is
a duplicate, then we would still rather you file the ticket, so thank you
for reporting it and reminding us of the problem.
