 As per  https://wiki.mozilla.org/Thunderbird:OpenPGP:Smartcards we need
 gpgme to support external gpg decryption for using yubikeys or other
 hardware tokens.

 After confguring all the stuff, I get

 Successfully loaded optional OpenPGP library libgpgme.dylib from
 additional standard locations GPGMELib.jsm:59:13
 gpgme version: 1.14.0-unknown GPGMELib.jsm:231:15
 configuring GPGME to use an external OpenPGP engine /opt/local/bin/gpgconf
 - failure: 117440662 GPGMELib.jsm:247:15

 in thunderbird logs and a crash report from within gpgme ,which I will
 attach.
