 I'd happily remove it, I didn't know it was there :)

 After the last XCode update from Mac OS Python was broken.

 I had to reinstall Python from ports and when I went to reinstall py38-pip
 VLC "decided" to rebuild itself.

 So it's no big deal, just thought I should report it.

 Thanks, I will remove VLC.
