 Yes the software from Dog Park Software is very pricey.  I tell new hams
 who are in the Apple world to use the free RumLogNG for the Mac and the
 $6.99 CAD RumLog2Go for iOS.  It is fantastic combo with iCloud syncing.
 I find it hard to justify spending a lot more money for the MacLogger DX
 and MacLoggerDX for iPad combo -- especially for new hams.

 P.S.  If you are ever looking for a good logging program for Linux.
 CQRLog is by far the best.  It is also free.  It is a pity that it will
 not run on the Mac.
