 The application seems to work and it's possible to do work, but when I try
 to open Preferences it crashes every time.

 I have reinstalled wxWidgets as recommended in another open ticket about
 crashing when starting, but it didn't have any effect. I reinstalled
 MacPorts fresh only a couple of days ago because of this problem, but it
 didn't go away.

 Crash log attached.
