 so a simple, but inexact, fix is to blacklist the clang compilers on 10.7
 and 10.8, so a macports-clang compiler will be used.

 a proper fix is to see why MacPorts' cxx flags are not getting passed to
 the build properly. This may turn up further issues with the cxx flags not
 being passed to the build that would also be useful to fix.
