Comment (by kencu):

 They would probably have the best success if they built rust against the
 MacOSX10.7.sdk, using -isysroot= and whatever in rust itself does that.

 Otherwise it's hard to make sure it is working correctly.

 Or just build it on a 10.7 VM.
