 I'm sure the SDK is installed (I've reinstalled XCode and the command line
 tools, and I can compile my own projects and most other ports), but it may
 be a newer version? XCode is version 12.4.

 The logfile (attached) shows a number of missing X-symbols during linking
 (_XChangeProperty, _XCloseDisplay,...).

 MacOS Big Sur 11.2.3, 16-inch MacBook Pro, 2019
