Ken, I used the recipe you provided, essentially verbatim. However, since
Mame doesn't use CMake, things aren't always as straightforward as they
otherwise would be.
I'm verifying that the new compiler and linker flags are truly being used
everywhere during the Mame build. Stay tuned.
