 b.t.w. I strongly recommend against running with the settings you are
 using. By forcing the compiler to be  `macports-clang` across the board,
 which then maps to whatever you happen to have`port select'ed` for it,
 means you are over-riding the sometimes carefully selected compiler
 requirements ports have. Do this makes it quite likely you will run into
 problems with ports using a compiler their maintainer did not expect. I
 very much suggest you remove this option and just let the ports pick
 themselves what compiler they wish to use.
