 Sorry to keep asking for more details, but can you add '-v' to your
 invocation? `/opt/local/bin/freshclam -v --debug --show-progress
 --foreground` ?

 The warning you see gets printed from libclamav (in load_module()) and
 there's some additional cli_dbgmsg() calls that might give us some more
 information on why it's failing.
