 This may not be the right fix, but I tried the following as an experiment
 and a possible workaround:
 {{{
 sudo ln -s /opt/local/lib/libMacportsLegacySystem.B.dylib
 /opt/local/lib/rustlib/x86_64-apple-darwin/lib/libSystem.dylib
 }}}
 This is sufficient to make the builds work, and the final program at least
 passes a basic sanity check.
