 This port built successfully for me locally, on my 10.13 systems. So I'm
 not (yet) convinced that it's an issue with the port, nor Xcode versions.
 (Nothing's 100% certain. But the fact that it's building for others, is a
 positive sign.)

 Can you folks go through the steps mentioned in comment:12, and report
 back?
