 I would imagine libtapi might be made to build on ppc with enough effort
 (probably starting with 10.5 Intel would be the approach I would use), but
 it won't be useful anyway. libtapi allows a newer ld64 to use the most
 recent macOS SDKs, and this is not relevant for ppc.

 Your approach here would better be to look into why something wants
 libtapi on ppc and stop it from being wanted.
