 The port has already been abandoned; see #62438.

 The project's web site no longer exists.

 Per [https://github.com/hyperic/sigar/issues/137#issuecomment-662618410
 this GitHub issue comment]:

 > Hyperic was acquired by SpringSource, later acquired by VMWare. The date
 of the acquisition correlates rather well with termination of SIGAR
 releases and abandonment of the project. As the Hyperic products have now
 been superseded by other VMWare offerings, they have no motivation to
 continue supporting it.

 There is [https://github.com/hyperic/sigar/issues/95  an issue asking if
 the project will designate] a new maintainer or a new official fork; no
 decision reached as of today.

 There are forks of the repo, for example
 [https://github.com/boundary/sigar this one] with commits as of this year,
 but no new releases have been made there.

 Since the port has not been updated to a new version since its original
 submission despite a new version having been made available 11 years ago,
 and since it just installs a 32-bit macOS library which can't really be
 very useful at this point, I'll delete the port for now. It can be
 recreated later if the situation changes.
