 I seem to experience the same build error of libgcc7. I followed the
 suggestion by Ken above to use gcc10 instead, of which installation went
 fine. However, although I first uninstalled all versions of libgcc7
 beforehand, the libgcc7 build error resurfaced again during a routine
 "port upgrade outdated".

 Above I have added a zipped version of the logfile for this build error.
