 Leo - any opinion on this? There are some (breaking) changes between
 versions 2 and 3, is that the reason you didn't upgrade the port yet (if
 really needed, we could keep two versions around, but I'd rather not....)?
 If it's just lack of time I would be happy to update it to the latest
 version, since that's what I am using myself and have the update already
 in my local tree.
