 The script needs a little work still ... need to set environment variables
 so that SED works ... and on Big Sur the MAJOR.MINOR isn't correct (not
 even sure how to determine the "minor" there ...) ... and the number of
 SED replacements varies from OSX to OSX (I was assuming 3 since that's
 what I found on 10.4 and 10.5) ... working on those ...
