 This is just a brain fart from base, because it expects (on 11..2) a
 MacOSX11.2.sdk but it doesn't exit.

 this looks like an error, but it's not the cause of any wreckage. It's a
 false-positive from base. base falls back to MacOSX.sdk.

 Your real issue appears to be that python38 doesn't build universal on
 BigSur, which it apparently does not.
