 Go 1.16 adds support for arm64 darwin, a.k.a. Apple Silicon Macs. When
 installing this version via MacPorts, the downloaded binaries are x86_64.
 Building from source fails because it depends on go 1.4 to build, but the
 x86_64 go 1.4 binary does not work with Rosetta 2, and will not build on
 Apple Silicon. Perhaps the Apple Silicon version could use the x86_64
 binary for go 1.16 as it's bootstrap instead of go 1.4?
