 I just went back and re-installed the previous version (5.2.8_0) of
 {{{gnuplot +qt5}}}, and then upgraded to the latest version (5.4.1_1)
 without any problems. So I cannot reproduce this and consider this a
 fluke, perhaps something specific to mouse07410. If there are others who
 report trouble as well I could look into this more, but for now I'd
 consider this resolved.
