 Well despite the warning that:

 > This is a major rewrite to the system. Expect brokenness : YAP may eat
 your disk, dance on your keyboard, and chase your mouse into your fridge.

 I'm going with 6.3.4 instead. 6.3.3 is too difficult to compile, too many
 build problems that were already fixed in 6.3.4. Several implicit
 declarations of functions plus pervasive overuse of `inline` in a clang-
 incompatible way.

 6.3.4 moves to cmake. Autotools files remain in the source tree but the
 software cannot be built using them anymore so we have to move to cmake.
