 This was reported to the developers here:

 A similar patch was provided to the developers here:

 https://github.com/noloader/Build-Scripts/blob/master/patch/wget.patch

 I don't know if they wish to apply it. If not, requiring C99 mode per
 Ken's commit above is fine.
