 Ah, that would have worked, yeah.

 Too late now, I did all of this manually now. Let's see if it works.

 Still, the real question is if it's worth the effort. We'll at some point
 hit a new feature for which no deprecated version exists and we likely
 won't be able to get around that... naturally, at that point, we can still
 error out the `cocoa` variant and say that we just won't support it.
