Let's make a small program that calls that library, using gcc7, and I
think you will see it works normally. I don't believe there is anything
wrong with gcc7, cctools, lipo, or libgcc.s.1.dylib.
I think we will find out the issue is with the way python loads libraries,
but we can cross that bridge once we prove the rest works normally and we
don't need to blow up the entire MacPorts toolchain infrastructure.
