 None of the suggestions I have seen start mongodb once installed.
 - sudo port load mongodb

 There seems to be no conf file installed, nor any instructions (other than
 the web links above) how or where to create.
 Having created such a conf file /opt/local/etc/mongodb/mongodb.conf and
 chown'ed it to _mongodb:_mongodb the program still exits silently.
