 Ryan, relative to resource use, `gmic` only compiles two source files. So
 even with parallel builds enabled, there are only two clang instances
 executing simultaneously.

 Granted, those two processes do consume a considerable amount of memory;
 they peak at 1.3 GB/each, based on local testing. But with only two
 running - and with 8 GB of RAM - shouldn't we be fine?
