 Yes, that's what I will do. I'm not aware of any clang-12 feature
 (compared to clang-11) that I absolutely myst have,

 Apologies - can't promise a quick report here. Playing with Portfiles is
 not my forte. :-(

 > It takes several hours with parallel building enabled. With only one
 processor, you can guess it might take four times that long, or more, not
 sure.

 This is a big concern, and one reason I (and probably many others) would
 like to see analyzer in the default variant, so it doesn't need local re-
 build.
