New description:

 I have recently done a bit of work, migrating as many ports as I could
 using boost to use the boost PG.
 These are the remaining ports directly using the old boost port

 {{{
  > port list depends:':boost($|\s)'
 aircraft_oap                   @3.0.2          science/aircraft_oap
 boost-numpy                    @1.71.0         devel/boost
 freeling                       @3.1            textproc/freeling
 glob2                          @0.9.4.4        games/glob2
 libreoffice                    @7.1.4.2        office/libreoffice
 lscsoft-deps                   @20200805       science/lscsoft-deps
 openvrml                       @0.18.9         graphics/openvrml
 QLColorCode                    @4.1.0          sysutils/QLColorCode
 simplevoc-open                 @1.8.0          databases/simplevoc-open
 tcpflow                        @1.5.2          net/tcpflow
 textmate2                      @2.0.6          editors/textmate2
 vcsn                           @2.8            devel/vcsn
 wesnoth                        @1.14.13        games/wesnoth
 }}}

 These all (well maybe not the last one which I am not sure on its use)
 have issues that meant migrating over did not work 'out the box'. e.g. a
 number use the scons build system and I failed to figure out how to get
 that to use the isolated boostXYZ ports.

 We should try and figure out for each what to do. A number don't build,
 maybe on all OSes, so perhaps are not used and should be retired.
