Hello i0ntempest, thank you for your kind response :)
Being able to install 4.3.2 would be absolutely fantastic. Anything from
4.2.2 and up fits my requirements, since that's the version that added
`PERFORMANCE: Move multiple torrents one by one (glassez)` which finally
avoided a disk-fragmentation-inducing "unfortunateness" in the up-till-
then design of the code.
I read your bit about soe logic to lock me at 4.3.2 and went googling,
found this: https://trac.macports.org/wiki/howto/InstallingOlderPort . I
cloned `https://github.com/macports/macports-ports.git`, `git log`ged the
Portfile for qBittorrent, saw that
`fa286ad50976db0b978940bda10c9b2a3570eaf9` was the commit for v4.3.2,
checked that out, did what the guide told me to, and holy cow. I now have
qBittorrent 4.3.2 running on Yosemite :D
I friggin' love you, and Macports, too :D Why oh why have I wasted soooo
many hours with Homebrew :D
AFAIU, there's no "pinning" of ports in Macports, correct? So, until 4.3.3
builds here — if you really think that that will ever happen — still can't
get over the joy of finding someone who actually gives a crap about older
macOSes — the hacker in me is thinking perhaps I could perhaps "just"
rename qBittorrent to something like qBittorrent at 432 and install that?
Thank you so much for helping out :)
