 there are downsides to doing this. there are (AFAIK) no update prompts to
 tell you when MP has been updated, or to run a new "update" automatically.
 So you just "have to know".

 And some features are not fully debugged.

 Not trying to be rude -- there was no indication (I could see) you had
 done that it was seeming to take on life as a Much Bigger Deal than it
 actually is.

 It really does take about 120 seconds to do. And 120 seconds to change
 back :>
