 As far as I can tell, the python27 binary for 10.6 no longer has this
 issue:

 /lib-dynload/_collections.so
 Architectures in the fat file:
 ./python27-2.7.18_2+universal.darwin_10.i386-x86_64/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/lib/python2.7
 /lib-dynload/_collections.so are: x86_64 i386
 }}}
 Do you still see the issue on 10.5?
