 Thats fine, but just note we are actually in the process of migrating to
 python 3.9 as the default (I will likely change root at some point) so by
 sticking with 3.7 as your preferred variant you will be forcing a number
 of ports to be built from source, whereas if you used the default you
 would benefit from the binary installs.
