 I just updated the port to its latest version and when doing
 {{{
 import usb.core

 dev = usb.core.find(idVendor=0x0d8c,idProduct=0x0008)
 }}}

 I do not get the Traceback that you're seeing; please try update the port
 and try again, it might have been fixed in the newer version.
