 Thanks for you reply and yes, sorry: I mean my branch. And I can imagine
 you are limited in time.

 Is creating separate v6 and v7 ports, as I did in my branch, workable for
 you and if not: what would your suggestion be?

 I'm happy to setup the port(s) for ImageMagick 6/7 and create PRs for
 version updates regularly but apart from that: I'm not a programmer so I'm
 reluctant to take more responsibilities...
