 ibtools fails several times with:
 {{{ error: ibtool could not strip "MainMenu1.nib" because it could not
 write to the path }}}

 even though I changed the permissions to writeable for all

 Note: I have MacPorts installed on an external drive, because netcdf-cxx
 requires a case-sensitive file system.
