 Yep - just stumbled on this myself last week

 There is a conflict with the source's VERSION file with the system's
 version header.

 Quick solution - rename VERSION to something else (like VERSION.bak).

 I have an issue report open with Apple as I believe this case sensitivity
 is a new Xcode regression and am typing up an email to the mythtv devs
 asking for help on how to resolve properly.

 Another solution is to downgrade your Xcode version.
