Comment:

 Great, so upstream fixed the problem in January 2021 and the fix is
 included in version 0.11.0 which was released in September. We should thus
 just need to update the port. FYI the changelog also says 0.11.0 drops
 support for Mac OS X 10.5 and earlier.
