to {{{openssl3}}} is to have a more liberal license so that a whole bunch
of packages will become distributable. Having all Python ports stuck again
with version 1.1 pretty much kills that goal.
I initially felt the same way, Renee. Then I did some Googling related to
upstream's current status, and it looks like some key things are still not
complete. (Or at least, not Production-worthy yet.)
I'll let Josh elaborate more. But as disappointing as it is to revert to
OpenSSL 1.1, it seems justifiable in this particular case.
Thoughts?
