 Unfortunately, I do not have access to a x86_64-macos-12 system to test.

 As mentioned in <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/63731#comment:7>, a
 possible solution would be to "move forward" the version of bootstrap SBCL
 image.  I've asked for information on where we could get such an image in
 <https://bugs.launchpad.net/sbcl/+bug/1949580/comments/2>.
